Welcome. . .

This blog is a long time making. I think I waited so long to do this because I knew revisiting those early memories of confusion, sadness would bring back emotions---and tears. I wasn’t ready before, and quite honestly, when my mother was in a nursing home, I was knee deep in all that is wrong in elder care. If I can help one person avoid a fraction of what we’ve been through, then it would be worth it. The goal is to build topics as I go, and to answer any specific questions not addressed in the forum.
